Tonight on “NFL Turning Point” – Broncos Seize Control of AFC West

Turning Point

Broncos v. Chiefs part II. Meeting for the second time in three weeks, both teams had a good understanding on what to expect from their opposition. Knowing Peyton is one of the smartest QBs in the NFL, the Chiefs added a wrinkle to their defense, with the hopes of slowing Manning down. Starting Strong Safety Eric Berry was moved to Linebacker, forcing reserve Safety Quintin Demps into regular action. Having Berry’s speed and coverage ability near the line of scrimmage helped slow down the Broncos short passing attack, but Manning proved once again why he is one of the all-time greats. See how Eric Decker was able to put up a career day and lead the Broncos to another victory in the AFC West.

Colts Defensive Lineman Cory Redding never seems to be at a loss for words. Whether it is on the field in the trenches, or sitting on the bench with his teammates, Redding is always the center of attention. Mic’d up for this week’s game against the Titans, see how Redding and the Colts defense helped carry their team to yet another divisional win.

The Eagles came into this game riding the hot streaks of QB Nick Foles and WR DeSean Jackson. On the opposite side of the football, the Cardinals possessed one of the league’s elite cover men in Patrick Peterson. With Peterson’s sole focus on taking Jackson out of the game, Foles was forced to lean on his Tight Ends Zach Ertz and Brent Celek for added production. With the game coming down to the wire, see how the paws of the Honey Badger negated an errant Foles’ throw, and proved to be this game’s Turning Point.

Only in the NFL could two underperforming teams generate one of the most controversial games in the 2013 season. Being a one score game late in the fourth quarter, Washington had one final drive to try and tie the game. A four yard completion to Pierre Garcon moved the chains and left Washington with a 1st and 10 in Giants territory, or so we thought. See how a mistake from the referees screwed up Washington’s play calling and resulted in this game’s Turning Point.

You can catch all this and more, tonight on “NFL Turning Point” at 10/11c, only on NBC Sports Network.
