Darrelle Revis watch 2013

Hard Knocks, New York Jets, TCIPF Staff

A lot of trade talk has been swimming around Revis island lately. The New York Jets are reportedly shopping All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis as new General manager John Idzik looks to improve the team. It seems like only yesterday that the Jets were doing the exact opposite – trying to get him onto the field. In 2010, Revis’ holdout drama played out like a soap opera on “Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the New York Jets.” NFL Films captured all 36 days of his holdout, which culminated with his signing a four-year, 46 million-dollar deal – the very contract which might now get Revis voted off the Jets’ island.

Here’s a look back at the inner workings of Revis’ deal, as originally presented on “Hard Knocks.”
