TDIF: Happy Birthday, Kevin Greene

Carolina Panthers, Films Encore, Pittsburgh Steelers, San Francisco 49ers, St. Louis Rams, TCIPF Staff, This Day in NFL History

On this date in football, July 31, Kevin Greene – the former Ram, Steeler, Panther, 49er, Panther, and WCW nemesis of Steve “Mongo” McMichael – turns 50 years old.  Greene – who was born in Schenectady, NY, is a member of the Granite City Sports Hall of Fame, had 160 quarterback sacks in his NFL career, and whose middle name is Darwin – is presently the outside linebackers coach in Green Bay.  There, his best known pass rushing pupil is kindred long haired wildman Clay Matthews.

Today we send birthday wishes to Greene, and take a look back him as originally presented on NFL Films Presents.
