On this day in 1992, Brett Favre was traded from the Atlanta Falcons to the Green Bay Packers.

Favre was the 33rd overall pick in the 1991 NFL Draft but didn’t get much playing time in his rookie season. He got his chance in Green Bay, and the rest is history.
