Week 10 Playbook Fantasy Hits and Misses

Fantasy Tips, Inside the Game, Nick Condit

Week 11 begins tonight but before we begin a new slate of games, it’s that time to assess the Playbook War Room’s fantasy tips from Week 10.

Laurent Robinson, Cowboys: Robinson had a huge game for Dallas as Miles Austin’s replacement. Playbook thought that with Austin out, Robinson would capitalize on his opportunity and he did. He made the most of his three catches, scoring two touchdowns that included a 58-yard bomb from Tony Romo.

Antonio Brown (AP)

Antonio Brown, Steelers: Brown didn’t score but he’s been productive in terms of receiving yards for Pittsburgh and the Playbook guys though it would continue. Brown caught five passes for 86 yards.

Torrey Smith, Ravens: Playbook warned to stay away from Smith due to his inability to make plays underneath, making him one-dimensional. The guys didn’t anticipate him getting involved in the screen game either, leading them to believe that he was not worth a start. Smith caught just three passes for 28 yards.

Damian Williams (AP)

Damian Williams, Titans: The War Room was weary of Williams and wanted to stay away from a risky play. But Williams stepped up and caught a 43-yard touchdown pass as well as four other passes for a total of 107 yards receiving.
