The Chicago Bears’ Sid Luckman became the first quarterback ever to throw seven touchdown passes in a single game on this day in 1943. No quarterback has thrown more touchdowns in a game since Luckman’s performance against the Giants, and no one has even matched his mark in the past 42 years.
