Week 9 Playbook Fantasy Hits and Misses

Fantasy Tips, Inside the Game, Nick Condit

That time again to see how the Playbook War Room fared with their week 9 fantasy predictions.

Tim Tebow, Broncos: Tebow didn’t dazzle but Playbook thought he would be productive against Oakland’s man coverage, and that it could open running lanes for the mobile quarterback. Tebow threw for 124 yards and two touchdowns, while adding 118 yards on the ground in Denver’s big win.

Jordy Nelson (AP)

Jordy Nelson, Packers: Sometimes one play can make or break a fantasy week, and Nelson has made a couple of those big plays this season. In Week 6, Nelson scored on a 93-yard pass play, instantly justifying a fantasy start. This week the Playbook guys thought Nelson would have right around 100 yards receiving, and thanks to a 64-reception, he racked up 105 and a touchdown.

Arian Foster, Texans: It’s not surprising that Foster had another big day against the Browns since he’s been pretty consistent all season. The War Room thought that would continue and Foster was able to run for 124 yards and a touchdown while adding 26 yards receiving.

DeMarco Murray (AP)

DeMarco Murray, Cowboys: Playbook thought that the rookie’s production could be down this week against a solid Seattle run defense. But Murray scorched the Seahawks, running for 139 yards on the ground and catching four passes for 47 yards through the air.

Check back right here tomorrow for the Week 10 Playbook fantasy tips.
