Week 6 Fantasy Hits and Misses

Fantasy Tips, Inside the Game, Nick Condit

Week 6 has come and gone but before we move on to Week 7, let’s take a look at how the fantasy predictions from the Playbook guys turned out on Sunday.

Michael Turner, Falcons: Turner was a fantasy beast this week and gave owners the performance they’ve been waiting for all season. The Playbook guys liked Turner’s chances of getting back on track against the Panthers, whose linebackers had been struggling. Their struggles continued as Turner rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries.

Ray Rice (AP)

Earnest Graham, Buccaneers: The Playbook War Room was high on Graham being able to spell LeGarrette Blount (not literally). The guys thought the Bucs would focus on the ground game despite being without their starting back, and Graham proved them right, accounting for 131 yards of total offense.

Ray Rice, Ravens: After not rushing for over 100 yards since Week 1, the Playbook guys liked Rice’s chances of doing so against Houston without Mario Williams. Despite not scoring a touchdown, Rice ran 23 times for 101 yards and added 60 yards receiving

Peyton Hillis (AP)

Peyton Hillis, Browns: The War Room thought that Hillis had enough time to recover from a hamstring injury and would have an impact against Oakland. But the big back’s struggles continued as he ran the ball just six times for 14 total yards.

Make sure you check back tomorrow for Playbook’s Week 7 fantasy tips.
