One year ago today Houston’s Arian Foster had the NFL’s second-best opening weekend rushing performance since 1933, rushing for 231 yards and three touchdowns to help the Texans beat the Colts, 34-24. In that same game Peyton Manning threw 57 times for 433 yards – the fourth most passing yards in an opening week game since 1933.
364 days later – as in yesterday – the Colts were back in Houston. This time both Manning and Foster missed the game due to injury and the Texans widened the victory margin, winning 34-7.
