With NFL free agency beginning Tuesday, March 12, all 32 teams are licking their chops to add talent to their roster. While every club wants to get the most bang for its buck, one team has a history of throwing in all their bucks for very little bang – Washington . Over the past 13 years, Washington have made enough blunders in the free agent market that their collective bad signings took the No. 1 position on the “Top 10 Worst Free Agent Signings.” But there could be a light at the end of the tunnel. Last year’s free agent additions Pierre Garcon and Josh Morgan were the team’s leading pass receivers in 2012. Of course, it didn’t hurt that they were catching passes from the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year, quarterback Robert Griffin III. If Washington keeps drafting players like Griffin and running back Alfred Morris, it might not even matter what they do in free agency.
