Intern Domenick Candelieri is assigned to TCIPF and Showtime’s “Inside the NFL” this season. Here’s his take on what he’s thankful for.
The Thanksgiving holidays are always a time when one looks to reflect and give thanks, whether it is for the food on their table or more importantly, the support and love from family and friends. I am fortunate enough to be in a position where I am receiving constant support towards reaching my future aspirations of obtaining a career in the journalism/production field. As I approach the four-month mark of my internship here at One Sabol Way, I am thankful for the new relationships I am creating, remarkable foundation of support I am receiving and of course, the late Steve Sabol’s love, football.
While Thanksgiving is a time of being grateful and appreciative of certain aspects in life, it is also a time of tradition, such as participating in the annual backyard family pick-up football game. The Harbaugh brothers are all too familiar with competing on Thanksgiving day, when the two coaches clashed on the real gridiron last year. Here’s a look back at that Thanksgiving night game, as originally presented in “Inside the NFL.” And, don’t forget to tune in to an all-new “Inside the NFL”, premiering tonight at 9 PM / ET only on Showtime.
