In Week 9 of the NFL season, it was all about the rookies. Indianapolis Colts’ rookie quarterback Andrew Luck threw for 433 passing yards against the Miami Dolphins, surpassing Cam Newton’s year-old rookie record of 432 passing yards in a game. Luck wasn’t alone as Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ rookie running back Doug Martin rushed for 251 yards and four touchdowns versus the Oakland Raiders, breaking the 32-year-old team rushing record set by James Wilder’s 219 yards. Both Martin and Luck undoubtedly pleased their fantasy owners, yet more significantly, helped their teams win.
Defensive end Richard Seymour and the Oakland Raiders found out first-hand just how elusive the first-year Buccaneer was. Here’s a sneak peek look at Seymour wired from “Inside the NFL.” Don’t forget to tune in to “Inside the NFL,” tonight at 9 PM / ET only on Showtime.
