Path to the Draft: New York Giants

New York Giants, TCIPF Staff

The NFL Draft is just over a month away, and we’re getting ready with 2011 highlights of some of the best draft picks of each of the NFL’s 32 teams.  Each of the posts in TCIPF’s Path to the Draft series will spotlight players who were chosen by the team for which they played last season.  So when we get to the Bears post you won’t see Jay Cutler, but there will be a healthy dose of Matt Forte – Chicago’s own second round choice in 2008.

Over the past five years, no team has proven more than the New York Giants how success on Draft Day can translate to championships.  Our countdown to the #1 overall pick in the 2012 Draft will begin with the team that owns the final selection of April’s 1st round — the Super Bowl XLVI Champions.  Will they use it to replace the player we feature here who has already signed with another NFL club?  Find out in a few weeks.
