In 2012, the Colts will likely build around a quarterback chosen early in the draft, just as they did fourteen years ago by selecting Peyton Manning. But selecting college quarterbacks is not the only way to build a team. Eleven years before Manning was picked, Indianapolis traded for a veteran star running back and made him the centerpiece of their offense.
