On this day in 2009, the Pittsburgh Steelers became the first franchise to win six Super Bowl championships, defeating the Arizona Cardinals in an epic Super Bowl XLIII.

The Cardinals played outstanding behind Kurt Warner, but Pittsburgh’s James Harrison made a game-changing interception return for a touchdown before halftime to give the Steelers a 17-7 lead.
