On this day in 1974, the Miami Dolphins defeated the Minnesota Vikings to win their second Super Bowl title, led by Hall-of-Fame coach Don Shula.

Larry Csonka and Bob Griese defeated Fran Tarkenton and Alan Page in a rout, 24-7.
