Congratulations to Drew Brees for breaking Dan Marino’s 27-year old record for most passing yards in a single season on Monday night.

Marino was the first quarterback ever to throw for over 5,000 yards in a season, and he also did it on a Monday night in just his second year in the league. For today’s Encore, let’s show you some highlights from that unprecedented 1984 season for Marino, and listen to he and Don Shula reflect on their success.
