Back in 1988, I was a senior at the University of Notre Dame and the Irish football team went undefeated. The kicker that year was a fan-favorite named Reggie Ho, a 5’5” 130lb senior who looked like his parents dropped him off after a Pop Warner game. Reggie booted us to the National Championship then found success at the next level—he’s currently one of the best-known Cardiac Electrophysiologists in the Philadelphia area.
This year’s kicker is David Ruffer, and he has a shot at making it in the NFL. If it doesn’t work out, he’s got an Economics degree with a 3.9 GPA and an incredible story to tell his children and grandchildren. Click below:
