Let’s look back at how the Playbook War Room’s Week 3 Fantasy Tips played out:
Pierre Garcon, Colts: Playbook thought that Garcon would become fantasy relevant again and had confidence in Painter’s ability to throw to his playmaker. He had 146 yards receiving on just two catches, both went for scores.
Matt Forte, Bears: The Playbook guys predicted success for Forte and they were right: His 205 rushing yards were a career high and he joined Walter Payton and Gale Sayers as the only Bears to rush for over 200 yards in a game.
Frank Gore and Kendall Hunter, 49ers: Playbook thought that San Francisco would be able to adjust to the Eagles’ defensive schemes and successfully set up Gore and Hunter for solid production. Gore ran for 127 yards and a touchdown while Hunter ran for 38 and racked up 62 yards receiving.
Willis McGahee, Broncos: The Playbook War Room did not anticipate Denver having a successful ground game against Green Bay but McGahee put up good numbers despite not scoring a touchdown. In a loss, McGahee averaged 6.9 yards per carry, totaling 103 yards rushing and adding a couple catches.
